Sweetwater String Band, November 19, 2016

Don’t miss this great family event coming November 19^th to the
Comptche Community Hall and sponsored by
The Comptche Community Organization!

This Saturday is the day for a fun family event at the Comptche Community Hall. “SoulGrass” with Sweetwater String Band from the eastern Sierra will be on stage from 6-9 p.m.; The dining area will be set up as a kids’ area with craft table and legos, a great menu in the kitchen with beer and wine at the bar.

Thanks to generous sponsors, the band’s fee and their lodging, plus drapery and lighting rental costs are all covered. That means the money that comes in at the gate will benefit the Hall!

Admission to the Hall:

$12 for Adults,
$10 for seniors, teens
kids 12 and under are free.

Dinner is served from 5-7 p.m.

Sweetwater String Band will be playing from 6 – 9 p.m.

Vegetarian Chile
Cornbread
Pulled Pork Sliders
Cole Slaw
Baked Goods
Hot Dogs
Beer & Wine
and some fun extras!

Cost starts at $5.

Early Fall Sale at the Comptche Store, October 22 from 2 – 4 p.m.

Are you kicking yourself for not doing anything with the abundance of fruit we had this year?  Well it’s not too late; share the wealth and bring home memories of Comptche from this CCO and Fire Department fundraiser!

The CCO and Auxiliary will be having a sale on the store porch this SATURDAY from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Items available will be sweatshirts, t-shirts and homemade jams and jellies.  When winter comes you can snuggle up next to the fire (or propane heater), in your new sweatshirt and enjoy a piece of toast slathered in apple butter or raspberry jam.  Yum!

All proceeds benefit the Hall or Fire Department.  Come support your local non-profits!
